This impressive Grade II listed building, dated 1704 on its north gable required a substantial glass entrance which would eventually lead out to a beautifully landscaped garden and water feature.

A very complex project indeed, it required the longest supporting triple laminate fins and double glazed roof units we had ever installed at almost 6 metres!

Not only that, but the unique geometry of this historic building made both the design and installation process a huge challenge, particularly installing the perimeter channel into which the huge units would sit effectively to create the flat plane vital for the glass roof to fit properly, with minimum disturbance to the fabric of the building.

Needless to say, the installation was a tense time, however, the hard work and diligence of our designers and engineers, as well as the skill and experience of our installation team with  effective input from the architect and builder meant we eventually triumphed and the results really are spectacular.
